Advances in Geroscience: Impact on Healthspan and Chronic Disease

The National Institutes of Health, with the support of the Alliance for Aging Research and the Gerontological Society of America, has organized a major meeting on aging as a risk factor for most chronic diseases. Leading scientists will discuss what we now know in geroscience—a multidisciplinary field that seeks to understand the relationship between aging and chronic disease—and explore where we should be going to translate discovery into health.
