#MedEd tweet chat
The Medical Education community hosts a weekly conversation on Twitter about topics relating to issues in medical education, including its dissemination into social media. The one-hour long chats take place on Thursday nights. Because of differences in times, the chat geared toward Europe is set for 9 pm UK time, and the chat geared toward North America takes place at 9 pm Eastern time. All participants are asked to use the #meded hashtag so the conversation is aggregated together. Suggestions for the topics and questions can be sent to DM to @MedEdChat or by email to mededchat(at)gmail(dot)com.
The first weekly #meded chats took place on Thursday June 2, 2011. AnneMarie Cunningham (@amcunningham) and Natalie Lafferty (@nlafferty) co-moderated the UK/EU chat and Ryan Madanick (@RyanMadanickMD/@MedEdChat) moderated the US chat.
