Mississippi Health Care Symposium for Patient Safety

The Mississippi Health Care Symposia have a tradition of providing real-world tools, robust resources and evidence-based solutions to impact barriers in access to health care for our patient population through-out the state. The program is planned and delivered by industry experts with a focus on a “first-person” consumer perspective with the intention to impact and promote sustainable clinical practice changes. The 2014 Symposium will gather together clinicians, educators, researchers, policymakers and others who have developed best practices in the arena of patient safety with a bridge to previous year’s focus on improved clinical outcomes within the context of cultural competency and health literacy.
