Community Health Center leaders from across the U.S will gather at the CHI just as the health centers prepare for the final stages of the Affordable Care Act implementation. The conference brings together thousands from the health center field to develop strategies on expanding the reach of affordable primary health care services to more people. Community Health Centers serve more than 22 million people today, but as the landmark health care reform law’s insurance expansions take effect and new coverage options become available, their patient population will grow by millions more.
