Transforming dementia care in hospitals; making a difference

The Royal College of Nursing is pleased to present a showcase to the RCN Dementia Project and provide best practice models that promote working with dementia patients, carers and hospital staff. Join us for this one day outcomes based programme in central London. The day chaired by Broadcaster and Dementia Ambassador Angela Ripon will focus on the involvement of family carers, education and training of hospital staff and changes to the physical environment and the importance it can have on patient care. The conference will evaluate different approaches to improving dementia care and nursing teams from across the UK who have developed good practice examples will be invited to showcase their work to feed into this. Open to all health care professionals caring for dementia patients
