What is #smwlhib?
London is now covered by the London Health Improvement Board (LHIB). Incorporating the NHS, the Mayors of London’s office and London Councils, the board aims to improve the health and wellbeing of all Londoners using collaborative projects concentrating on prevention and early diagnosis of cancers, alcohol abuse and childhood obesity. This session will give examples and evaluation of how these three organisations are already using social media to engage and inform their publics and will pose the question to panellists and attendees, ‘Using the lessons already learnt how could we best collaborate online to change Londoners attitudes to cancer?’ The hashtag for the event is #SMWLHIB.
