Leading in Safety, Quality & Experience Programme Final Event
Improving safety and quality of care for patients and clients is often difficult to actually put into practice. This programme is designed to build and develop skills and knowledge in continuous quality improvement and rapid cycle testing, providing participants with the ability to make changes that would improve patient and client outcomes. Skills and knowledge were developed by using a range of learning techniques and the programme has been developed to consist of three compulsory components: Completion of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School modules. ï Attendance at a monthly tutorial/learning session. ï Participation in a service improvement project.
