@stales I have come to realize that every January I get into a bit of a funk, and then it dawns on me that maybe it's because 26 years ago, right after the #NorthridgeEarthquake, I was dx'd with my 1st breast cancer. I think the psyche remembers even if I don't commemorate. #bcsm

@stales @teaminspire In addition at first I had people virtually arguing about who would go with me to treatment. It has faded out and while I had at least one companion for each ovarian cancer treatment 10 years ago with BC I am on my own most of the time. #bcsm

@denniskeim @stales Hi Dennis :) I too am used to being alone... but isolation, feeling like you don't fit in anywhere or like you used to, or feeling like there is no one to relate to is different, IMO from being comfortable being alone. What do you think? #bcsm

I have found that the best way for me to avoid isolation now is to help others who were/are in similar situations. Guide them to non profits or groups that will help them and their families. #bcsm
