| TruthBeTold @truthbetoldms @MustStopMS #chatms In Canada you can go back as far as 10 years. I just fund out about this. I had to have a form filled out by my doctor and they reassed my taxes going back to 2013. |

I’m using a lawyer for the appeal (and presumable hearing) This is too much to handle in my own and the fees are capped by law at 25% of backpay. #ChatMS |

 | MySageAdvice @mysageadvice It’s usually just a game and you have to keep. Playing until they are absolutely sure you can’t work now or probably ever again. Must show specific proof of not being able to sustain the day. |

| Can’t wait for 8/9/23 #RWT 🐝🍋🪩🪩🪩 @jenny_rasch @MustStopMS #chatMS A4 I’ve been told it’s all about getting in front of a judge for a hearing (the 3rd round). They deny most apps and appeals because the job of those reviewers is to find a reason to deny. The judge makes a more unbiased review |

| MySageAdvice @mysageadvice When you simply can’t go anymore or you see that it’s getting close get a head start, especially if you have really good medical documentation. A supportive doctor is probably the number one factor in a speedy decision. |

It’s good to apply even if short term,even if it ends in denial. Next time I couldn’t work at all. You have to be very honest with yourself. Not easy to do. Write out your day. |

| MySageAdvice @mysageadvice Rough days .... try and prepare ahead ... most families don’t seem supportive, we had a help from family and friends. You do whatever you have to do and we did. |

| MySageAdvice @mysageadvice Get an attorney after the first denial but don’t use a big disability firm ~ the state judges don’t actually like most of them. Find a good reputable small law firm that also deals in disability. |
