Days I can't drive, I don't. My wife drives 95% of the time, drive a bunch less, but can still drive most days. #ChatMS |

I have not driven in almost 3 years by choice, I still have my DL and could pass any of their tests NP. #ChatMS |

| A Life Less Traveled @mjwentink @MustStopMS Diagnosis helped me understand the issues I was having, i.e, Long rides are hell, issues w/sense of direction, dizziness. And when I was DXed I had blurred vision from ON, so impact was from day 1. I still drive, just pick my outings wisely #chatms |

| iConquerMS @iConquerMS @MustStopMS A4 - I primarily stopped driving due to Oscillopsia/nystagmus/optic neuritis/small blind spot in my left peripheral (MS REALLY got my vision) and secondly I just don't trust my reflexes anymore even though they are probably still just as fast as others. #ChatMS |

| iConquerMS @iConquerMS @MustStopMS A5 - OMG yes! Especially here in the desert of SoCal! You can't get ANYWHERE without a car! But in Colorado (where I spend a lot of my time) Uber/Lyft if huge so the whole NOT driving thing isn't as big an issue #ChatMS |

| A Life Less Traveled @mjwentink @MustStopMS I can still drive but wife is primary driver & friends always offer to pick me up, etc. Rather than isolated, it causes guilt that they are doing more to help out...but, also appreciation/recognition of how many kind people I'm surrounded by #SilverLining #chatms |

When I jumped that curb I thought to myself I just could not put other people's safety at risk because I want to be able to drive around on my own. I'd rather not drive another day of my life, if I'm still able to see the sunrise & sunset tomorrow (while listening to some good tunes, of course) #chatms |
