@gyncsm I really resonate with this definition - as in stress is a normal reaction. It is a real thing that happens in your body, mind and heart. I still have to react and deal but it is natural and normal to feel it. #gyncsm

T1 Two things most stressful for me at dx and during treatment was when I didn't have a plan and having to wait for test results. I always felt much better once a plan was in place. #gyncsm

T1: Stress morphs throughout the cancer continuum. The stress of "not-knowing" at the beginning, the stress of the schedule and treatment during therapy, the stress about potential recurrence after the completion of therapy #gyncsm

A1: I would say other people, even those who mean well. As somebody with a โ€œgood cancerโ€, it comes with a lack of compassion, understanding, and validation. People think I had easy surgery and done. That makes it harder further out from dx! @ThyCaInc #GYNCSM

This is huge - @MDAndersonNews has an Integrative Medicine dept which provides these types of key stress relievers, and our Psychiatry dept is available for patients that need it #gyncsm
