@spiteri_anna @JanetThomas47 Looking forward to joining @spiteri_anna and @physiotalk tonight COVID-19 has had such a massive impact on all of healthcare and sometimes we need to stop and reflect on all that has happened to help us move forward to what’s next #PhysioTalk

@physiotalk And that's just the NHS. Equal changes in my HEI role as well of course #physiotalk

@gvhawtin @physiotalk It's great yo hear some of the positive impacts that new ways of working have had such as this #physiotalk
Snehal Moon @SnehalMoon27
@physiotalk The last 2 years have been a different experience, had a full time role at LTC in Toronto. Got through it all without catching the virus & doing what I love. Currently preparing for the upcoming licensing exam due next month. #Physiotalk
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@physiotalk In some ways - I've had far more opportunities. Courses and conferences moving online have opened up opportunities without costs of travel or accommodation! Have done loads! #physiotalk
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@physiotalk Mind you I'd still prefer NOT to be chosen for audit thank you! #physiotalk

@chris_richards2 @physiotalk Is that because you haven't needed to travel there is more to choose from? Wondering if this has made a difference to those more remote and rural? Travel versus potentially poor internet access? #physiotalk
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@physiotalk Kindness everywhere! However the usual support mechanisms of hugs and home baking have been severely impacted by COVID regulations. #physiotalk
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@physiotalk I think there was so many times I saw people going above and beyond in early days especially. The time spent by so many ensuring all the latest information was disseminated for example. #physiotalk
Carla Ellis @carlatrottellis
@physiotalk #physiotalk agreed covid has opened opportunities (as well as closing some doors): most training and cpd moving online is democratising opportunity, no longer need to fund travel etc

@physiotalk That's a tough question? Not sure its changed my outlook - but I still have many changes in my day to day life bought about by COVID #physiotalk
Snehal Moon @SnehalMoon27
@physiotalk Colleagues have been super kind in arranging for meals to helping catch up on naps in the long overhauls. They’ve also checked up on folks & family, all such kindness has been ushered upon in the last 2 years. #Physiotalk

1/5 @physiotalk @spiteri_anna #PhysioTalk Im a RGN working in #MentalHealth & along with so many colleagues in healthcare my role completely transformed over the last 2 years. I moved to London for a new job with @BEHMHTNHS 6 months before the start of the pandemic taking a role
Emily Burch 💙 @elmorose84
2/5 #PhysioTalk in forensics supporting substance misuse and primary care. When the pandemic hit I started to take on a more trust wide role helping to implement many of the new national ask’s such as antibody testing and pcr testing. It was a steep learning curve working
Emily Burch 💙 @elmorose84
4/5 #PhysioTalk talent we have in the NHS to work through such complex delivery systems ensuring all those that need care receive it is astounding. It’s been one of my proudest career moments to date. The skills and passion for care that so many have taught me, I hope to bring to
Emily Burch 💙 @elmorose84
5/5 my new role as Associate Director of Physical Health working with all colleagues to deliver improvements, reduce inequality & inequity. The last 2 years has taught me resilience, but also the depths of human kindness & how our priorities should always be people #PhysioTalk

@physiotalk Empathy, kindness, care & consideration have all been added to our personal & professional outlooks in these Covid times. #Physiotalk
Emily Burch 💙 @elmorose84
@physiotalk There have been so many acts of kindness, I am always deeply touched when staff go out of there way to send an email highlighting the good experiences they have had from teams delivering vaccinations and LFT/PCR testing the appreciation of our peers can be inspiring #PhysioTalk
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@physiotalk I'm glad that we can now reconnect more with friends and family rather than only via a screen. Having that human connection is so important to us all. (and I don't even mind if its outdoors and /or with a mask!) #physiotalk
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@gvhawtin @physiotalk That's so important. I've learnt to say no to some things so I don't get too over stretched! #physiotalk
Carla Ellis @carlatrottellis
@physiotalk #physiotalk depends on when in your career these come, another topic? hands on important but not everything (light red touch paper and stand well back!)
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@chris_richards2 @physiotalk Your picture from the run looked great! I had a day off today in the Edinburgh sunshine - was fabulous (although I had to go shopping, which isn't my favourite thing!) #physiotalk #weddingoutfitchosen
Carla Ellis @carlatrottellis
@physiotalk @MarcoDaRoit1 #physiotalk look at what ppl of all ages achieve from war zones and worse. Covid has been awful but we as a profession will get beyond it
Snehal Moon @SnehalMoon27
@physiotalk Love to have human interactions but stay away from giving advice knowing it never gets followed. Taking up only as much work that’s possible, getting jobs done on time & giving time to myself to reflect on both my mental & physical well-being. #Physiotalk
Carla Ellis @carlatrottellis
@physiotalk #physiotalk definitely but the quality of the relationship may be more important
angiejphysio @angiejphysio
@spiteri_anna @physiotalk It was! Not knowing when we could reopen and the responsibility for my team weighed heavy and was not one I wanted to repeat + 12hour days on zoom whilst everyone else was on furlough being paid! Loving sharing my knowledge with the next generation far les stressful #physiotalk
