@CarlDunnJr Right now I have been listening to more Ukrainian /Lithuanian songs. I love the old tragic haunting folk songs. There’s just something that still feels like a lullaby( guess cause I grew up with the tragic Gaelic stuff )#bpdchat

@CarlDunnJr #BPDChat I recently found out my best friend Scott was suffering from diabetic polyneuropathy and as had as he tried to deal with it he lost his fight 3 months ago. His diabetes was left undiagnosed for 18 years before they deemed it too late. πŸ˜ͺ

@CarlDunnJr When it comes to disappointment I get so angry and petty... when I calm down I realize how childish my reactions were and start feeling horribly guilty. These situations make me feel like I have no right in feeling whatever it is I’m feeling. #BPDChat

@CarlDunnJr I think i maybe realized just now that, for me, it’s harder to cope with disappointment. Probably because it almost always envolves someone else’s feelings too, and I my extreme and opposite reactions usually confuse and hurt them. #BPDChat

A particularly painful type of loss that it's not easy to get over: Your pet (or a relative or friend) pass away. #BPDChat

These are just some examples, We all have our own. For me, Hurricane Harvey flooded Houston a couple of years ago (we had 3 feet of water). We lost a lot of stuff. (But fortunately we survived, with our dogs). #BPDChat

Often it's helpful to notice your primary ("original" or "true") emotion. Sometimes it may be sadness. That can get covered over by secondary emotions such as anger, guilt, or shame. #BPDChat
