The liver and kidney are linked through many intrinsic pathways. As such, EASL International Liver Foundation and the ERA-EDTA are linking together to jointly tackle key issues. This first meeting will provide an innovative and interactive program addressing two emerging epidemics that have great impact on both the kidney and liver: viral hepatitis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
