T1: I've always been early adopter of #tech - my 1st instant message was sent/received in 1980. So for me, #healthIT feels like Jetsons ep written by Edgar Allan Poe. #epicfail #patientchat
Your GPS Doc, LLC @yourgpsdoc
@patientchat T1: The main technology I use for my own health and also when I was a caregiver for my dad is my smartphone. I use it to take notes at doctor’s appointments, to document medication lists, and to document the timeline of symptoms, just to name a few. #patientchat
The Advocate Is In @TheAdvocateIsIn
T1: Yup. A lot. After years of "just"using a glucose meter with about 6 shots/day, I moved to a pump, which normalized my life a lot. Now moving to a setup that marries a continuous glucose monitor and pump. The AI almost thinks for itselff. #patientchat
