| Holly Case Wyatt @Hollingtonn I think machine learning / AI could have a impact on the way we search for information. And I think this will have a significant impact on our profession #ukmedlibs |

| UKMedLibs @UKMedLibs @yiwen_h @SueLaceybryant the British Library uses robotics to retrieve books! I am sure we could do that and create more space for those that use the library. #ukmedlibs (makes a note to speak to pharmacy!) |

| UKMedLibs @UKMedLibs #ukmedlibs - I think we also need to look to other industries to see what technologies are being used there - the NHS often seems to be a few steps behind other industries. |

| Holly Case Wyatt @Hollingtonn Q6. We have many valuable skills that can be incorporated to support emerging technologies. But we must carve a place for ourselves. And we must invest in appropriate training & development. This could be quite the departure for the profession! #ukmedlibs |

| UKMedLibs @UKMedLibs there's perhaps the perception that such "advanced" technologies are for OTHER people and not them. #ukmedlibs Emerging technologies will have to accommodate those people or we get them up to speed. |
