Healthcare Stakeholder Segments
Symplur is able to further segment stakeholders down to specific medical specialties. On behalf of the customer we can identify all influential interventional cardiologists, hematologists, etc.
Customers also create segments for prescribers, partners, employees or any other arbitrary group.
Unique HCP IDs
Sophisticated customers operate with unique internal IDs for HCPs they interact with. Symplur data from the Healthcare Social Graph can be associated with that internal ID and surfaced everywhere in Symplur Signals and the Symplur API. Customers with appropriate access levels can also surface Symplur data in their internal knowledge bases or CRM systems like Salesforce and Veeva.
Sentiment Algorithm Training
In order to even better understand attitutes and sentiments around a certain disease, medical specialty or treatment, Medical Affairs teams take advantage of Symplur’s natural language processing (NLP) algorithms and optimize it by custom-training it to match their team’s specific needs.
Deeper insights from the conversations can be acquired when filtering a conversation for a certain clinical trial, or for HCPs only, or a specific location. We have filters for all needs.

Users of Symplur Signal are able to flag any article, tweet or visual with customized flags for sharing important content within the team, or for further reporting upstream. Typical flags are set up for Adverse Events reporting, clinical trial feedback, or for competitive intelligence.
Members of a team set up and share individual dashboards and their configurations. All dashboards are then organized in groups typically focused around certian medical specialties, organizations, medical meetings, or KOLs.
All custom settings that users make are shared within the team. These customizations include all work around stakeholder segmentations, custom segments, tagging of content and sentiment algorithm training.
