Light-years Beyond Flexner: Academic Medicine in 2033

What will U.S. medical schools look like in 20 years? Who are the students, faculty and administrators of the future? How will classrooms be different? Will the fast pace of technological innovation continue? What aspects of today’s medicine will be obsolete in a few short years? The AAMC has challenged member medical schools to envision the innovations of tomorrow in academic medicine. Teams have submitted two-minute videos to the "Light-years Beyond Flexner: Academic Medicine in 2033" video contest. This session will feature the contest's winning videos and will engage participants in activities and energetic discussion about the endless innovations and imaginative possibilities for the future of academic medicine.
