Update in Minimally Invasive Surgery 2013

This two-day interactive course will: review the latest advances in minimally invasive general surgery procedures including management of complications; and foregut and solid organ minimally invasive surgery procedures. Update new techniques in the surgical skills lab. Increase knowledge in bariatric surgery. Back By Popular Demand - On day two, a half-day session will be offered at the Mount Sinai surgical skills lab. This session will highlight basic and advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery techniques, as well as provide workstations featuring: laparoscopic suturing tips and tricks, more advanced suturing techniques such as intracorporeal anastomosis, and laparoscopic inguinal hernia simulation training.
