@creativitycare Yes! The forums help us shrink the world & our differences to find a core of strength, support & friendship #AlzChat
Dennis Fortier @BrainToday
Online forums are great at highlighting questions that all caregivers should ask of the MDs in charge of their loved one's care. This is a role where many caregivers feel overwhelmed and a little guidance can yield great benefits for all involved. #AlzChat
nursesKidONE @nursesKidONE
Major media coverage of care/nursing homes usually focuses on negatives. It is helpful to have providers participate in chats who share how they implement appropriate care/support standards, emergency preparedness, staff support, to highlight what is possible to achieve.#alzchat
Karrie Marshall @KarrieMarshall
Yes, UK could benefit from more community-led-action that offers practical, on-the-ground, joined-up resources that I saw in rural areas of Japan, where stigma had significantly reduced and community support increased for fellow humans. #AlzChat @creativitycare @IRememberBetter
