T1 ages 9-45, gender inclusive. Vaccination starting before age 15 is 2 doses. After 15 is 3 doses.

#gyncsm T1: Changes since initial HPV vaccine roll-out include # of doses, importance of vaccinating both girls and boys, and in 2018 the vaccine was approved for ages 27-45. It's expected guidelines will change as more research is done, but changes also lead to confusion.

#gyncsm T2: How often you need cervical cancer screening gets complicated and is based on the results of your last screening. A huge burden falls on women to keep up with what their next step is and when to take it.

If you have a primary care doctor or gynecologist the medical record should highlight the need for the PAP but if you move or switch doctors records don't always follow. #gyncsm
