Fair is such a challenging question. They're paying the providers so they can do it. For me the issue isn't about fairness, but is about them asking for things that don't move the needle for anyone. That's unfair. #HITsm https://t.co/02suMYbAaK

Bonus: There are so many demands on clinicians beyond caring for patients – it’s going to take time & resources to track this data. With my magic wand, I’d give give each EC the resources to do it (both staff & tech) so there are less impacts to their valuable time. #HITsm https://t.co/eKDM14daj2

@MandiBPro #HealthIT investments will be reqd in short term. There are leaks at multiple levels that impact #healthcare costs. We can begin w/ #healthIT investments being meaningful - e.g. #Interoperable #EHR #HITsm

Similar to CHIME's concern- There will be struggle with the increase in the Cost weight and full-year reporting #HITsm https://t.co/lkEWFEaUKx

Next week there is no #HITsm chat since we're taking it off for Thanksgiving. We do encourage you to spend some time thanking those in the #HITsm community who have helped you this year. We're back 12/1 w/ @gabrieldane hosting the chat on "Using Technology to Fight EHR Burnout"

@ShimCode But how do you determine high quality to join a virtual group? ...It's tougher in the initial year with no precedent. #physicians can base it on the expected #MIPS score if they're proactive #HITsm
Joy Rios @askjoyrios
@AislingMcDL @jimtate It's the same idea. Must exceed the low-volume threshold as an individual or as a group to be able to particapte in a virtual group. #HITsm

RT @wareFLO: An attempted and ineffective fix, of a self-inflicted problem (if I was the cynical sort 🤑 I’d almost surmise it was intentionally foisted on us to make some folks a whole lot of money, but me, cynical? No way, not possible!) #HITsm https://t.co/4LL9vRv9mi
Jon McBride 🌴 @jamcbride
RT @MandiBPro: Commercial payers have the same legacy tech/process debt that providers have (worse, in many cases, as they invested in tech long before most providers). Most foundational systems not agile enough to handle VBC constructs. #HITsm https://t.co/7HNXxeAdfQ
Joy Rios @askjoyrios
@AnshuBJindal @ShimCode Exactly! Folks entering a virtual group in 2018 must be *extremely* well prepared to do so. I read that CMS expects only about 20 virtual groups in total for the 2018 performance year. #HITsm
