T1 I think that many patients who participate in clinical trials do benefit. They may receive treatment otherwise unavailable, and often undergo more rigorous surveillance/scrutiny which could benefit them. #LCSM

t1: most of the long term survivors I know are alive because of clinical trials. Even though they may "fail" from a commercial/scientific aspect they can buy patient more time. #lcsm
