T1 I think that many patients who participate in clinical trials do benefit. They may receive treatment otherwise unavailable, and often undergo more rigorous surveillance/scrutiny which could benefit them. #LCSM

T1. A patient (who has become a close friend) got diagnosed with #ALKPositive cancer and >20 brain mets the same month a new drug was approved with better brain efficacy. He is still going strong. #lcsm
