T3 disparity in who follows, RTs, Likes, and comments whom. Women are slightly less prevalent on Twitter than men, but followed a lot less. Men AND Women tend to RT women less than men #MEQAPI

One potential fix to help RT and follows, is to deliberately #FF and respond to women. Be deliberate in following women in health & science, and engage with them at a professional level #meqapi

T4 Way too many conference panels are just the same old, white, male faces. We need to be aware of yhis and question it. Sometimes simply refuse to join them or attend if they are that unrepresentative, and say why. Be public #MEQAPI

T6 Need more publically active role models for young ladies to explore interests in Medicine/science through more movies, dolls that are more than pretty, games that involve health, math, science they are & can be better in developing/applying #MEQAPI

I think habit is our enemy here, but can become an ally. Need to build new habits to plan and then deliberately identify women to amplify until we have reached parity. Just just leave it to good intent #MEQAPI
