With my first research project I completed an MRes @EHU_FOHSC this helped me to develop skills in critical appraisal, writing a research proposal and carrying out a small research project with the support of an academic and clinical supervisor #OTalk

My MRes was based on a clinical issue and something I was passionate about so this helped with design and motivation. It was a manageable project that could be completed in clinical time with minimal burden on the teams involved #OTalk

Applying for a CLAHRC now @arc_nwc internship was a great opportunity and enabled me to gain knowledge of implementation science as well as gain further mentorship and support which has continued since I was awarded a NIHR/HEE bridging scheme #OTalk
