gwyn owen @gwyn_owen
@logan_angie @physiotalk absolutely... & as a https://t.co/o22iQM9BT4 person, the process of submitting an abstract (with a few minutes to spare) can be something that helps me pull ideas together in ways that I might not otherwise make time to :-) #physiotalk
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@tolanPT @chloeann_tait @physiotalk I'm welcoming submissions for #agile18 at the moment :) for example #shamelessplug #physiotalk

@physiotalk fear of failure is a v real barrier that can be challenged by working collaboratively &/or taking advice from a critical friend - someone who's been there/done that/got the T-shirt but who's approachable & is happy & able 2 give support/advice #physiotalk
Chantal Lauzon @PT_Chantal
That's called imposter syndrome. High achievers are likely to suffer from this... #physiotalk https://t.co/VhfbrByjbA

@physiotalk Think this us key! If your work doesn't 'fit' at all then it really doesn't matter how good your abstract is! #physiotalk

Yea... Absolutely #physiotalk https://t.co/juPnSXcMAX
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@emaroids1 @tolanPT @bendotellis Of course not - but I was thinking of submissions to conferences that are a little too removed from your abstract! #physiotalk
gwyn owen @gwyn_owen
@bendotellis yes... I tend to think critically about why & where I want to submit an abstract - so that I get what I need & want from the process (e.g. feedback from o/s the discipline, a critical convo with peers etc) & so that I don't waste peer reviewers' (& my) time/energy? #physiotalk
Janet Thomas @JanetThomas47
@IanTyrrell5 @logan_angie @physiotalk Yes - @GeriSoc are very supportive I've submitted abstracts a couple of times and ended up with platform presentations #physiotalk

@bendotellis possibly it's a combo of choice of conference & its themes... & now I've thought about it, I reckon time/energy spent thinking (rather than doing!) wld explain why I'm so https://t.co/o22iQM9BT4! 😅#physiotalk
