Stacie Attrill @SAttspeech Hi all. Stacie Attrill from Adelaide. I'm one of the authors on this paper & we're are really thrilled you'll be discussing it today. I can't join, but will try to keep an eye and respond later #resnetslt

Stacie Attrill @SAttspeech 1. Papers incl in this review did not consistently identify SLTs as the health profs involved w pts w dysphagia & that clear protocols/guidelines were rare #resnetslt
Dora Guyatt @DoraGuyatt @ReSNetSLT Lack of SLT funding means we don’t have the capacity to attend MDTs/daily ward huddles. We miss out at these crucial decision making times #ReSNetSLT #swallowaware2019
Stacie Attrill @SAttspeech @ReSNetSLT Not enough robust LOS data to set a decent comparator yet, I don't think. Cld do it now though 😀 #ReSNetSLT

Stacie Attrill @SAttspeech @SabrinaEltringh @ReSNetSLT Papers incl suggested that it was oft me team or nurse involved in Ax/decision making re dysphagia. Where SLTs involved, degree of involvement not always clear. Better for stroke. Still much work to do in this space. #ReSNetSLT

Stacie Attrill @SAttspeech @Bristol_SLTRU & needs international involvement to demonstrate translation. SLT involvement in dysphagia needs global advocacy & pooling of resources. It's not an easy area to research, & harder still to publish. We need to learn how to make our problem important to our funders too #ReSNetSLT |
