[REDACTED USER] @HEE_TEL [REDACTED USER] Evening all! Looking forward to discussion, debate & learning tonight. Am interested particularly in education provided to community teams #WeNurses

[REDACTED USER] @HEE_TEL [REDACTED USER] You noticed the deliberate mistake then!! #WeNurses
Clare Fuller RGN MSc @ClareFuller17
[REDACTED USER] [REDACTED USER] @HEE_TEL [REDACTED USER] #WeNurses Agree - in many ways that cuts to the chase quickly. I would like to see EoLC, holistic care, thinking & planning ahead as integral to generalist nursing
Clare Fuller RGN MSc @ClareFuller17
[REDACTED USER] #WeNurses - ongoing case reflection important too, learning from experiences what went well and how to improve

[REDACTED USER] @PrincessGinTech [REDACTED USER] #WeNurses Be really interested to learn more about any simulation based learning out there....

[REDACTED USER] #WeNurses I think nurses need more support in translating the national framework, the Priorities for Care of the Dying Person, into actions

[REDACTED USER] Agree...Even in District Nursing we can have times where a student on a relatively short placement may not get the opportunity to gain experience in this area. Especially as we can have three st/n in one office #wenurses
Clare Fuller RGN MSc @ClareFuller17
[REDACTED USER] #WeNurses ...And fundamentally, education in EoLC should be include more focus on identifying the last year - so often EoLC is perceived to be active dying and the proactive advance care planning opportunities are lost

[REDACTED USER] [REDACTED USER] [REDACTED USER] @HEE_TEL [REDACTED USER] I agree I enjoy teaching this way but I also benefit greatly from joint visits with our local hospice CNS colleagues, learning loads by observing their approach and expertise. #WeNurses

[REDACTED USER] #WeNurses Does anyone have EoLC as mandatory education for community (or other) teams? If so what does that look like?
mhairi-jane ramage💙 (she/her) @mjosiris
[REDACTED USER] It’s vital, most areas of nursing practice will encompass EOLC /bereaved relatives/ anticipatory care planning - we need to empower people with the skills and knowledge to provide person centred care in these encounters. #WeNurses
