Well I asked my psych about reducing my meds- she is really wary of reducing the seroquel as the dosage of 300 seems to be the magic dosage- she found with other patients the reduction caused the return of bad symptoms like increased dissociative states. #BPDChat

@CarlDunnJr I struggle to get help in a crisis. I don't feel I deserve it and I don't want to take care of myself. I loathe myself normally so this is escalated in times of crisis #BPDChat

I have had a different type of crisis than previous years and I am trying so hard to rebuild, and cope with higher levels of anxiety #BPDChat

@Meandmymhmatter @CarlDunnJr #BPDChat I do the same. Only person I will only reach out to is my psych. I don't even feel comfortable with the new therapist. Friends (except twitter) often don't get it. I get invalidated so often I just don't bother anymore

@mira113 @CarlDunnJr If there is a DBT counseling place they will have groups as it is part of the program #BPDChat not sure where you are but it can be difficult finding a DBT therapist but also as it is so broad now sometimes you don't need a group.

@CarlDunnJr TW I got asked that earlier this month when I admitted to the urges of self harm- my answer could let my psych nurse rest a bit easier.- no I was not suicidal just craving self harm to help cope with the tension levels in my body. #bpdchat I ended up not harming at all.

@CarlDunnJr I got asked by the neurologist when I had my 3rd mini stroke because I was in tears and truly frustrated, -I told her I am a fighter, frustrated, dizzy, light sensitive, they let me sleep off a couple days. I needed to mourn in a way. #bpdchat

@CarlDunnJr I was mad at myself that I was even contemplating self harm again after 6 years. #bpdchat but I allowed it to cross my mind. And consider it , but I asked myself the question of me forgiving myself, or needing others to forgive me. I couldn't forgive myself so I didn't.
