Positive Choices

Positive Choices is a free annual conference for 700 learning disability nurse students. It also includes people with learning disabilities, and family carers. Speakers this year include NTAward winner Glen Batey, Professor Ruth Northway completing some action research, Baroness Sheila Hollins, department of health speakers, RCN LD forum, parent carers, learning disability lecturers Helen Laverty and Jo Welsh and a host of other presenters. There will be performances from learning disabled performing arts groups MiXIT and Act2. This is a fabulous event for learning disability student nurses.
