Someone once said, “Nursing is a call to leadership.” Regardless of the setting in which we practice, nurses are viewed as leaders and at all levels must develop strong leadership skills to contribute to patient safety and quality of care. At the conclusion of this learning activity, the participant will be able to discuss at least three ways to enhance their success as a nurse leader.
