The 36th Annual Point/Counterpoint Acute Care Surgery Conference is one of many acute care surgery conferences in the United States; however, our conference is the only one using the educational Point/Counterpoint format. For each topic, there is a case in favor of a specific treatment option, while another speaker offers evidence against it.
