The Opioid Reduction Options (ORO) Program in the Emergency Department (ED) ultimately seeks to prevent overdose deaths and to curb the impact this epidemic has had upon New Jersey by taking a targeted approach focusing on reducing the number of opioid prescriptions written in EDs in the state. This conference is the launch of the program for the first cohort of ORO hospitals.
